We’re planning for the blog to be multi-author with a number of permanent and guest contributors, but for now we have:

Jonna Nyman

I’m a Leverhulme Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sheffield. My research looks at the politics and ethics of security, with interests in energy security, climate politics, and China. I’m interested in securitisation theory, ethics and more generally debates over what security ‘does’.

Rhys Crilley

I’m a Teaching Fellow in International Security at the University of Warwick and I’m interested in how technology impacts understandings and practices of security by ‘western’ states and other non state actors. My research focuses on how political actors use images of conflict to claim legitimacy for violence on social media platforms.
